3RD ALARM ON BORDENTOWN ROAD

At 1130 Ladder 98 was dispatched with Station 30 for a building fire at 1121 Bordentown Road. Chief 30 was first on scene with a large two story wood-frame building heavy smoke showing. Ladder 98 arrived as the second due ladder and took side C of the building laddering and preparing to operate on the roof. Soon after operations began Falls Command evacuated the building due to heavy fire conditions and explosions on the interior. Falls command then dispatched a second alarm and a Tanker Task Force due to poor water supply conditions at the area of the fire. A third alarm was also transmitted for extra manpower at approximately 1300. The fire was placed under control at 1345 hours and many companies from the lower end of Bucks County were operating on the scene. Chief 30 had Falls Command.
