Each year the volunteers of Morrisville Fire Company participate in four major fundraising endeavors in an effort to support the company with maintenance, purchasing equipment, and contributing towards the construction of our new facility.

Easter Flower Sale

Beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Good Friday, and running through Easter Sunday, the members sell Easter/Spring flowers at the station. We offer a variety of flowers, hanging baskets, and arrangements.

Annual Fund Drive

In July, the residents and businesses of Morrisville Borough receive a mailer describing current projects, encouraging financial support.

Labor Day 10K Race

Preparations begin at 7:00 a.m. on Labor Day for Morrisville’s Annual Labor Day 10K race. The sanctioned race, which begins at 9:00 a.m. takes runners throughout the streets of the Borough. At 9:10, we kick off a 1-mile Fun Run. At the conclusion of both races, awards are presented at Williamson Park. The race, which attracts runners from Pennsylvania and New Jersey, will celebrate its 25th year in 2007.

In mid-November, the volunteers walk the streets of the Borough, leaving raffle tickets for residents and businesses. In mid-December, 50 raffle tickets are drawn, and the winners get a 15-18 pound turkey for the holidays. Any turkeys that are donated back to the fire company, are given to a needy family in the Borough.

The Offices and Members of Morrisville Fire Company would like to thank the community for their continued generosity with our fundraising efforts.
